Larry has over 25 years of recruiting and staffing experience. He is a CPA and also has several staffing industry certifications including the CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant), CSP (Certified Staffing Professional) and the CTS (Certified Temporary – Staffing Specialist).

He joined Accounting Career Consultants in 1997 after spending 3 years with one of the Big 4 CPA firms. He quickly became the top billing consultant in the office and before too long was breaking most of the company’s production records. Within three years he had taken on a management role in the organization and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of Accounting Career Consultants. He has had personal involvement in over 500 successfully completed searches. In July of 2012 he became President by completing the purchase of the company from his father, Mel, after 15 years working together.

Shani joined Accounting Career Consultants in 2019 to assist clients with their accounting and financial contract/temporary projects and to help grow the staffing division. Her main focus is building relationships with clients and candidates in order to match the best candidates with our clients’ needs. Based on her experience and getting off to such a good start, she was quickly promoted to manage the Staffing division. She has quickly grown the division to almost 40 employees and was promoted to a Senior Staffing Manager at the end of 2020, Staffing Managing Director at the beginning of 2022 and Vice President in 2024 for her performance and the leadership role she has taken with the division. Shani brings over 15 years of sales management to the ACC team. She brings a great attitude, focus and work ethic to everything that she does.

Ashley Varner joined Accounting Career Consultants & HR Career Consultants as an Account Executive. In her role, Ashley identifies, develops and works with clients and candidates for the firm’s accounting, financial and human resources temporary staffing division. Prior to joining Accounting Career Consultants & HR Career Consultants, Ashley had over 10 years of management, recruiting and sales experience.

Brandon joined Accounting Career Consultants & HR Career Consultants in 2023 with a focus on recruiting, retaining, and managing candidates for our staffing team, specializing in temporary and temp-to-hire roles to elevate candidates’ career trajectories. Additionally, he is starting to work with clients all over Missouri. Bringing over a decade of progressive experience in training, customer service, and management from the retail industry, Brandon’s passion lies in empowering individuals to achieve their utmost potential. His dedication to helping people reach their goals drives him each day, and he takes pride in witnessing the success of his candidates, making him a go-to person for exploring career opportunities.

Kirstin joined Accounting Career Consultants & HR Career Consultants in 2023 as a Senior Account Executive. In her first role, she was focused on developing new client relationships and recruiting for the firm’s Human Resource and Legal practice areas. Based on her early successes filling direct hire legal roles, we moved her into a full-time legal recruiting role to help us develop ACC Legal. She brings several years of prior sales, recruiting and staffing experience to the organization. She is very pleasant to work with and brings a laser focus and tenacity to her work to help her candidates find a good fit and to help her clients find the best talent possible. Elisha joined Accounting Career Consultants in 2019 to assist clients with their accounting and financial contract/temporary projects by identifying, hiring and managing candidates for their projects and to help grow the staffing division. Her main focus is recruiting and building relationships with candidates in order to match the best candidates with our clients’ needs. She brings over 15 years of retail sales management to the ACC team. Fun fact, Elisha has 3 dogs and 4 birds and volunteers for several animal welfare charities. She brings a great attitude, work ethic and caring personality to the ACC Staffing team. Elisha was promoted to Staffing Manager at the end of 2021 for her track record of success as she has become a key driver of the staffing division’s growth.
